Brittany Reed
Brittany was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She went to high school at Tampa Catholic where she played on the varsity tennis team. She continued her secondary education at University of South Florida. She graduated USF, Cum Laude with a degree in International Studies. After working a few years, she moved to Virginia to complete an Accelerated Bachelor in Nursing. She worked as an Emergency Department nurse in Alexandria, Virginia before pursuing her Masters. She completed her Masters of Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from USF.
Brittany is an avid traveler who loves exploring new places, whether it’s a bustling city or a quiet hidden gem. You can find her cheering on local sporting events, soaking up the sun at the beach or pool, and sharing adventures with her loyal dog, Dakota. Always up for an adventure, she lives for making memories and embracing life’s spontaneous moments.
Dr. Darren McAuley
DO, MMEL, FAOASM
He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry- School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford New Jersey in 2002. He subsequently completed a rotating internship within the UMDNJ system at Christ hospital in Jersey City New Jersey and his residency in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manual medicine at Plainview hospital in Plainview New York. Seeking an expanded musculoskeletal approach Dr. McAuley further developed his skill set by completing a sports medicine fellowship In Reading Pennsylvania in 2007.
He became a fellow in the esteemed American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine in 2012 and in 2013 he completed his Master’s Degree in Medical Education and Leadership from the University of New England- College of Osteopathic medicine. The same year he successfully attained board certification in pain medicine and has continued his education attaining board certification in addiction medicine in November of 2023.
Concurrent to his time practicing medicine as a civilian Dr. McAuley joined the Delaware Air National Guard as a Medical Service Corps officer in 2000. Over 24 years of military service Dr. McAuley has served in the role of flight surgeon and participated in 6 deployments including two to Baghdad Iraq. He currently is assigned as the State Air Surgeon for the State of Florida and is stationed at Air National Guard headquarters in St. Augustine. In this role he functions as the chief medical authority for over 2000 airmen throughout the state. Most recently he returned from Prince Sultan Air Base Saudi Arabia in February of 2024.
She relocated to Tampa to enjoy more of the things she loves: beach days with her dog, relaxing under the Florida sun, and reconnecting with longtime friends. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her practicing hot yoga or strength training at a local studio.
Dr. Alexandra Mancuso
Dr. Alexandra Mancuso completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Miami, FL. With her foundation in psychology, she takes a holistic approach to care—addressing not only the physical aspects of recovery but also the mental and emotional well-being of her patients.

Dawn Davis
Hi, I’m Dawn.
I discovered my gift for healing through my hands in 2010, and I haven’t looked back since. I graduated from Everest University in 2009 with a degree in science specializing in Bodywork and Manual Therapy, earning Cum Laude honors with a 3.5 GPA. My areas of focus include Sports Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy.
My goal is simple: to make a meaningful difference.
I’m truly passionate about what I do, and the opportunity to help others heal, recover, and make them feel better is absolutely priceless.
Jody Reed
General Manager | Brandon Injury and Wellness Center
Jody Reed is the General Manager of Brandon Injury and Wellness Center (BIWC), where he brings a deep passion for helping others recover and improve their well-being. After spending over 40 years in professional baseball, Jody is now embracing a new chapter of his life dedicated to supporting individuals in their health journeys.
A lifelong resident of Brandon, Florida, Jody has a deep connection to the community. He graduated from FSU after attending Manatee Junior College and has spent his entire professional life managing the physical adversities that come with having played 10 years of Major League baseball and over 40 years as a coach/player in the game. With his unique understanding of what it feels like to push through pain and discomfort—having played through many challenges during his career—he is committed to providing compassionate care to those who need it.
In his role at BIWC, Jody and the staff of top-notch medical professionals are dedicated to helping clients recover, feel better, and get back to living their lives fully—whether that means returning to sports or simply enjoying everyday activities with renewed vitality. His personal motto reflects his mission: to help others feel better and get back on the field of life.
Outside of work, Jody has been happily married for 36 years and is the proud father of four daughters and grandfather to four granddaughters. He remains deeply rooted in the Brandon community, where he continues to build connections and inspire others to live their healthiest lives.
